Software engineering for startups
Vortex Digital helps startups design, build, and improve digital products: web and mobile applications, AI-powered software, and SaaS platforms with a foundation the team can keep changing.
The people behind the build
A short visual interpretation of the conversations, design reviews, and engineering work that shape digital products.
The company
Building software takes more than writing code. Vortex Digital brings product design, web and mobile development, AI engineering, and technical delivery together to help startup teams build applications with a strong foundation.
That foundation can include a web or mobile client, an AI feature, a SaaS structure, a backend, cloud delivery, interface design, and testing. The About page explains how the team approaches that work.

Learn moreWhy teams stay
A way of working, not a list of trophies. Figures appear here only after they are verified.
Structure follows the product. We choose the shape of the system for the problem in front of us, and we write down why.
You stay close to the decisions. Reviews, demos, and questions happen while the work can still change.
Naming, tests, and boundaries are part of the delivery. The goal is software the team can keep changing.
Testing and release checks sit in the plan, not in a scramble the night before launch.
We are set up to stay involved after the first release, when the product meets real users and real edge cases.

Process
Six stages from the full engagement. The details live on the process page.
01
We learn the product, the users, and the constraints before recommending a build.
02
We choose a technical shape, a sequence of work, and the risks worth naming early.
03
Interfaces are explored before they are expensive to change.
04
We build in short cycles so progress is visible and feedback arrives while it still matters.
05
We check the product against the agreed behavior before it is treated as ready.
06
Launch includes the handover: how it is deployed, watched, and improved.

Questions
We start with a conversation about the product, the users, and what the first release has to do. If there is a fit, we follow with discovery and a written proposal. Scope, timing, and commercial terms are agreed there. They are not assumed from this website.
Yes, when we can see the current product and the problem you want changed. We review the codebase or the product surface first, then recommend whether to extend it, stabilize it, or replace a part of it. We do not promise a rewrite before that review.
The practice covers custom web applications and mobile applications, including iOS, Android, and cross-platform work. Which path fits a product is decided in planning, not assumed for every inquiry.
We can add AI features such as assistants, retrieval over your own content, and workflow automation when the product and the data support them. A useful integration starts with the task the software should perform, not with a model name.
Testing and release are part of the delivery plan. Critical paths are checked before a release, and deployment is set up so it can be repeated. The exact tooling is chosen for the project and written into the proposal.
Support after launch is agreed before the project starts. That can include a fix window, monitoring, or a next phase of improvements. This website does not include an open-ended support promise.
Tell us what you're working on. We'll help you explore the right technical approach for your next product.
